Out to Terelj & Khustai National Parks (3 days 2 nights)

This tour takes you east of the capital into the depths of the Baga Khentii Mountains with astonishing views and landscapes.

The mountains lie within the bounds of the Gorkhi Terelj National Park which is a sheer paradise for those who love nature with an abundance of wild flowers and beautiful scenery into Khustai National Park where you’ll find yourself surrounded in most noteworthy greenery with grazing sheep and yaks accompanied by lone horsemen and white nomadic gers dotted all over the countryside, a unique and recognizable sight in Mongolian scenery and culture.







  • Day 1: Khustai National Park

    Meet your guide and driver at the lobby of your Hotel at 09:00AM.

    Your fantastic time spending in Mongolia will start at Hustai National Park. Lunch in the park. Introduction to the national park’s work in re-introducing the wild Takhi horses, a subspecies of the Przewalski.

    Overnight at tourist ger camp (B|L|D).

  • Day 2: Terelj National Park

    After breakfast you will make an early drive to Terelj National Park where you will visit the Chinggis Khan monument. Arrive at Nomadic family and settle into your comfortable Mongolian ger before lunch. Explore the valley with your guide, visiting a Turtle Rock and hiking to the Aryabala meditation temple (or alternative area) offering a view of Terelj valley. Horse riding can be arranged with the local herdsman.

    Overnight Nomadic family (B|L|D).

  • Day 3: Ulaanbaatar

    Spend the early morning with the local family, learning after nomadic life. Finish the tour with drive back to Ulaanbaatar. We will end our journey by seeing a traditional folklore concert that leaves you with lasting memories of your time spent in this magical country.

Accommodation/meals in Ulaanbaatar City, travel/health insurance, snack, camel and alcohol beverages.



You need to have a good level of fitness and be in excellent health to take part in this trip. It's important that you are able to hike a long distance. You also need to be able to cope with varying temperature as we will be experiencing climates from warm days to cold nights. Travel days can also be long, rough and in cramped conditions also if you have any special food diet, allergy etc. Don’t forget to mention it on your application.


A couple of rules

Illegal drugs are strictly forbidden on our trips. Possessing or using drugs not only contravenes the laws of the country, but also puts the rest of the group at risk. Smoking marijuana and opium is a part of local culture in some parts of the world but is not acceptable for our travelers. Everyone has the right to feel safe and secure on their trip. We do not tolerate any form of sexual harassment, either between passengers or involving our leaders or local operators. Sexual relationships (consensual or otherwise) between a guide or driver and a passenger are unacceptable. If you ever feel another person is behaving inappropriately, please inform us immediately by contacting us.
